Arrange all the "Administrative Functions" in logical sub-catagories.
And perhaps some roll-over (alt) texts with short explanations for each option/feature?

You will be able to customise all graphics in the near future. It will be the last thing I do (as each new feature has extra graphics it makes sense to do it last).

quote:
It would be great if one could have events calender feature in each category - because some of them are hidden.
Not sure what you mean here - the event calendar only appear on the main page.

quote:
It would also be nice to be able to link the forumbanner to a custom link.

I noticed you had tried to do that. I plan to allow admins to add their own banners on the top and bottom of each forum.

quote:
It would be very handy if you could provide the users with a graphical guide with screen shoot samples for the "Font/Table Color Code Configuration"
There's a change coming there, I'll be adding it over the weekend.

Should be easy enough to do.

It would be good if it could be "Category Sensitive" - so one could post events in the calender that only corresponds to that particular category, if you see what I mean..

The topic text together with the author on the front page - any thoughts there?

Not sure I can do that with the Catagory mod but I will look at it.

Announcements seem a bit overkill seeing as the same can be achieved (almost) with sticky topics.

Its possible. How would it work specifically?

Do you want the topic text (or post - including replies) displayed in the Statistics bit where the last post shows? What happens if some one posts a huge topic or reply?

How about this for the colours - You must be logged in to see this link.

It doesn't give you a preview of the forum but it does of the colours.

Click the icon beside the colour name.

You can do it like Your Mac Life:
You must be logged in to see this link.

In our case, perhaps just exchange "Moderators" with "Last Topic"?

Now I get you. They display the first 25 characters of the topic subject as well as the last poster.
Should be possible.

You now have two (three if you count Syndication available in your admin area) xml / rss feeds on your forum.

You must be logged in to see this link.
You must be logged in to see this link.

You can use any rss reader to track posts for you (and do other stuff).
You must be logged in to see this link.

The second rss feeder has the ability to display xml feeds by forum or category e.g.
You must be logged in to see this link.
You must be logged in to see this link.
You must be logged in to see this link.
You must be logged in to see this link.

I'll be adding xml / rss links to the bottom of the forums shortly (for easy access).

You can also use You must be logged in to see this link. to do things like this;

Another suggestion: how about having the avatar images displayed in the members list - as on the "top posters" page?

HAPPY NEW YEAR by the way!!!!

Very neat with the rss feed! I will try to experiment with it!

Another thought - if you use the "moderator(s)" field you can show like 30-40 characters from the latest topic title! GREAT!

I think it would have to be like the forum you posted - You must be logged in to see this link.
Other forums will have moderators.

Should be able to do it, I'm just working on something else at the moment.

ok!

But perhaps you could do the "moderator(s)" column a little more narrow, and the "last post" a little wider?

FANTASTIC! I am sooo happy!

I have but one small, small wish...
Is it possible to have the information in the "last post" field like this:

Steve Jobs and Mac OSX Tiger
16 Feb 2005 16:11 by: Gates

(I have tried to minimize the rows and removed the seconds)

Thank you!
