Is there a way to move a post from one Topic to another? Not a whole thread but just a post.

Thanks for all your help!

To move a post, edit the first topic and change the forum in the drop down list. Click Submit.

IESpell was introduced in the last week or two. It works great I think.
I cannot take the credit though, that belongs to Richard, HuwR or Dayve at Snitz.

Yes Padraic, the IeSpell works wonderfully. I had it on the computer already but for our forum members it's spectacular!

I know I can move a whole tread/topic but was wondering about one individual post? We have moved many threads/topics but my cohort and I were wondering if we could move just one individual post in the body of the topic or Merge one in with another?

Thanks for the very rapid reply.

Only by copying and editing the destination to reflect the posts origin.

How is merge supposed to work? If you merge two threads and order them by date of posting
do the replies not get mixed up?

Padraic,

I didn't think it would work, but one of my mods was trying it. I told them I would check it out. It's not a big deal and was only needed for the occasions when someone posts off topic.

Hello!

@ You must be logged in to see this link. we are having some isues about multiple posts about the same theme, thereby the abyliti of merging, or adding the posts from one topic to another would be an excelent upgrade, i wouldn`t mind that the appearence of the imported stuff was like a quote, think about it and if it is possible let me know, will you?

Sorry for my english, here in Portugal we speek our own language

Thanks.

Mário
