Hi... I am trying to shut down the forum I started and it isnt shutting down... any suggestions...

I am following the shut down the forum link but it dosent seem to hold..

The link option you are using is only a temporary (short-term) shutdown option. It will only shut the forum down for a short period of time.

thankyou... oh well will just empty it for now until someone can advise me how to shut it perminantly

You can do that. Or you can use the forum's "Edit Properties" to make it a "Hidden" forum; and restrict the members who can see it to just yourself.

You, yourself, (even as the Admin) can't shut the forum down. You need to P. M. ForumCo's Admin, or post the URL to the forum, requesting the forum be permanently removed.
