I'm afraid that it will not be possible to rescue all of the icons. Without going into it in too much detail, every time I try to copy the 26,000 folders and icons to the new server it ends up corrupting the destination disk. For the time being I am going to use the demo forum icons for all forums and disable icon uploading.
If you don't have a copy of your icons I may be able to retrieve them at a later stage, I have all 26,000 folders of icons in a zip file. If it isn't corrupted I may be able to extract individual folders manually and add them to your forum.

Hi, First I have to say what a great job you do with our sites... we have just had our 1 year anniversary and I couldn't be more pleased... Thank you !
our site lost the smilies I loaded up and only have the demo ones.... If you can and have time to help us get our old ones back that would be appreciated.... You must be logged in to see this link.

Padraic, next time you're digging in the smilies zip file could you try to retrieve ours please?
If you could email them to me I'll have them ready for when you fix the upload code.

Hi,
Thanks for the email and the file, unfortunately my security for Windows Mail removed the attachment, I am running Vista.
Is there a way to rebuild the smilies from scratch like I did originally ? I'm just not that good with the computer stuff to figure some of this stuff out and all the members are asking about the smilies we had.

Is there a way that I can start from scratch to load new smilies for my forum ?
I couldn't get your file that was sent so we have been stuck with the default Smilies and Icons .... Please let me know if there is a way I can change the smilies or if I am stuck with the defaults, my members are bugging me about it...
