Hi everyone!!! When i appoint a moderator are they supposed to be allowed to edit subjects and categories and posts and things of that nature. If not how do i get them to be able to do such actions on the forum??? I have one that i want to have make adjustments as necessary for when im gone. Thank you all. All help is much appreciated.

For editing forum descriptions, creating new ones, etc. they would have to be an admin.

A moderator can edit or delete posts.

I need to know your forum url, the users involved and the forums on your board which the moderator should be moderating.

If you trust them you could just make them an admin while you're gone.

ldeath and RIVAL have been added as moderators to the General and Member Roster forum. Let me know if it fixes the problem.

When you make someone a moderator you need to assign them to a forum where they can use the extra powers. Just edit a forum on the main page and add them (you'll see how once you edit the forum).
