Thank you again! We are getting a lot of double posts at our site. Currently there seems to be a problem. When I tried to reply and hit submit I got the following... quote: There has been a problem!
There was an error = 501 unacceptable mail address
Hit the browser back button and it gave me the same message again when I tried to submit. Went to the thread and there it was a double posting from me.
What does the number of members have to do with the errors? Just curious and yes, I know curiosity killed the cat.

Great Job! The forum seems to be working fine and it's even faster it seems.
The only error we are getting is one on mass group e-mails. I'm not sure either I or RVWheels is doing it correctly? I did remember you wrote me and said that prior to the final downtime crash that there were some "fatal errors" on our site and I am not sure if this is part of that.
We also get a time out on forum counts...

Please don't interpret this as complaining here! I'm not trying to do that at all, just trying to keep you informed. I'm also not looking for a quick response or solution to those minor things happening on our site. I'd really like to see you get a good dose or R&R first.
Once again a huge round of applause coming from our Club. We are all very grateful for your efforts and hard work. Thanks so much for taking care of us.
Both situations are still occurring intermittently.

This is the latest message I'm getting. Updating Counts

My new membes are also not getting their passwords forwarded to them via e-mail. Finally they e-mail me and I go in and change their passwords then reply to their e-mail with the password I have selected for their temporary one with instuctions that they should change it to one of their own choosing.
It's not a huge thing, but sometimes they wait quite a while, several days and I'm sure it's frustrating to them.
Sorry for all the bother Padriac, I do know you're busy. I just wanted to pass the information along to you.
Take care, Lady RV

It sounds like they have entered incorrect email addresses when they registered. The mail server is working perfectly, I receive email messages from it almost instantly. Email from this forum goes throught the same server so you can test it out yourself.
Try checking their email address on their profile against any emails you have received from them and let me know. |

Looks like it's the Administrator E-mail address that you have entered in the Email configuration page. It has a space in it. I tested it on my forum and got the same error. |

Both Richard and Padraic,
Thank you and I will adjust that. AOL allows spaces in their e-mail addresses. I don't know why, but I do know without the space the mail still comes through so I will eliminate it. It's odd as the forum count used to work for me. The e-mail one never has.
I'll get you know how it all works out.
Have a great day, Lady RV |

We are still getting the timed out thing on forum updates. I see you are working on that.
Our e-mail is working like a charm. The only thing that happens and one of our members seem to object to is that it sends their user information along with their passwords after my initial text. Is there a way of disabling that feature? We don't plan on using the e-mai feature that frequently, but we don't want any of the members uncomfortable.
In advance thank you. Take care.
Oops, by the way the forum is working wonderfully and even the members have commented to me via e-mail how much they like it and are enjoying it.
