I'm sorry, but I can't find my original post and your responses, but I'm following up about changing our url. You said that we could do it if we changed it to one word like girltalkcafe. I asked whether it would redirect to the new url if someone used the current one
You must be logged in to see this link. and I think you said you would check, but it should work. Do you recall and can we do this? We're finished with our makeover. It's not a GH forum any longer. Thank you!
Let me know if you need anything from me. I'll need to alert our members. I really appreciate your help, I know this is not easy to do.

Do you think this could be an option - You must be logged in to see this link.

You could create your own domain e.g. You must be logged in to see this link. and point it to You must be logged in to see this link. (note the correct url to your forum)

You could also change it to whatever you like anytime you like.

If you think it could work, set it up but don't release it to your members. I would like to test it first.

I'm in hte middle of some database changes which should make changing your forum url easier in the future but this is likely to take a while.

Actually I can expedite you forum so thats its upgraded tonight which would mean I can switch the forum name more easily. It will mean a bit of downtime for your forum though.
