Padraic, I come here and read what is going on with forumco about once a week. It keeps me informed to what is happening with any upgrades, etc. Anyway, my point is this, THANKS!

It amazes me how on top of things you are around here. I'm not sure if you hold down a regular job but even if you don't, thanks for everything you do for the forums so many people have here. I wanted you to know it doesn't go unnoticed.

Sorry if this is not where this topic should be. I wasn't sure.

You're welcome and you've made my day.

I've gotten into the habit of posting all the latest news, whats happening, etc. and its nice to know someone reads it.

Over the last few months I've made quite a few changes behind the scenes to make like easier and simpler for me at least. The latest upgrades will take quite a while but when its finished it should mean significant benefits. One of the main ones will be improved speed, less downtime when I have to restart the database server (that takes about 20 minutes at the moment), faster & more frequest backups and a few more things. After thats finished I plan to add a few more features.

Padraic,

Yes, I read it and it helps to know if there is going to be downtime coming up. So many people on my forum freak out, you know they need their fix, if the board is down for long. When I know some downtime is coming I tell them. That is a big help!

Hope others will chime in and show their appreciation for Padraic, too.

Yes thank you. Sometimes we hear the bad things, but we don't hear about the positives. We appreciate you keeping us informed. It really helps. Our members appreciate it as well.
