I am still not getting e-mail notification when someone new joins. I have a gmail account. I don't think I have ever gotten one actually! Help! It's not a huge deal so you can take your time if it's a problem just it's one less hassle for me, because right now I am copying and pasting their addresses to my email and then sending out the info I want them to fill out before joining. Thanks in advance!

You're not supposed to get an email when someone joins. There is no feature for that.
You can keep track of them if you restrict registration. You can find that setting in the "E-mail Server Configuration" of the admin area.
