It's set two hours ahead of MY time zone, and when i try to adjust it, THAT'S when my MB becomes disabled--we can't put in any new posts.
I would like the time display to be on PST. How do i do this without messing up the whole MB like this?

What exactly is PST in relation to GMT? Its behind by how many hours?

Currently its 8 hours behind GMT which I think it right. Should it be 10 ?

If you change the time there is the possibility that this could happen.

You go to the forum and the time is recorded in a cookie on your computer.
You change the server time so its two hours before.
The forum now thinks your cookie is two hours in the future.
That is unavoidable and it only affects you.

If you clear your cookies it should be ok.
It should also right itself after two hours.

SO STRANGE!! And now the topic and post orders are getting moved.
does the time adjustment go back and adjust all the old topics, too, to the new time?
we still can't post at all.

the difference is 2 hours, the current time setting is 2 hours ahead of my time zone. so i adjusted to -2. so in two hours it should be ok?

Thats the theory.

It only a problem for you at the moment.

Anyone who hasn't been at the forum in the last two hours may not have a problem at all.
If its not fixed for you in two hours, let me know.
If you want to, clear out your cookies by logging out and back in again. If that fixes it you can tell everyone else.

Ok, Thanks!
I just realized we CAN post but it doesn't show up on the first page. i guess the posts are put in time order so new posts are put 2 hours behind....can't explain it, but i get it.
the ladies are all in a tizzy about it!!
