We are expanding our forum and would like to change the forum title as well as the url. I know that I can simply change the forum title on the admin pane, but is it possible to change the url? Thanks in advance.

Bev

Thank you!

Changing forum url is not a small task by any means. It takes about 4 hours to do and sometimes results in about 20 minutes downtime if the database server has to be restarted.

Its much easier to use a frame to display the forum or a free url redirection service to mask the domain. The latter option also gives you full control over the name of your forum and you can change it as often as you like.

If you need help to do either of the last two options just let me know.

That works for me. I was reading your post below regarding "masking" the url. Would that be easier? Whatever is easier. I was wondering about redirecting too....I'm not sure how I would do that so if someone logged on to our present url, it would take them to the new one. Just wondering.
I appreciate your help. We're ready now. I've changed everything on our end. Our url now is:
