How do I make a forum only accessible to my moderators?

Enable private forums in the admin area.

Create a forum (from the main page).
Edit its properties so that only "Allowed Members (Hidden)" is chosen.
Add the moderators using the two boxes at the bottom.

This tutorial will help but you will be using Allowed Members instead of Password Protected.

Thanks! I knew I missing something in order to do it. Just wasn't sure what I was missing in terms of being able to do it. Now I know.
