What type of music (and I don't mean genre). I mean which file type? mp3, wma, midi, etc.

You have to enable html on your forum, then upload the mp3 or midi file to your webspace.
Take a note of the url to each of the files.

Post the following code in a topic (after changing the link to the file).

Embedded mp3 code would look like this

<p>#060;embed src="http://www.yourwebsite.com/track.mp3" controller="true" autoplay="false" loop="false" height="50" width="140"><br>
#060;noembed>NOEMBED#060;/noembed><br>
<embed src="http://www.yourwebsite.com/track.mp3" controller="true" autoplay="false" loop="false" height="50" width="140">
<noembed>NOEMBED</noembed>
<br>
</p>

Embedded midi

<embed src="http://www.yourwebsite.com/track.mid" autostart=true height=45 width=145>

Enable html on your forum and include it in a post. You could also include it on the main page as part of the description of a forum and have music load when the main forum page loads. I haven't tested it though.

You can have a song load html wise and an image load at the same area (description area)?

In the area where you add the image for the forum. If you add it to the text area where it's the description for the forum, won't the html code show up there too?
