Hi Paidraic,
We seem to be having major problems with the forum, I can not login and no can anyone else, the text boxes at the top of the screen have disappeared. Posts are going missing and more worryingly everyone who is using the board can apparently post as me!
Could you please disable the board until this has been resolved. I have tried logging in as admin but it takes me back to the login screen in a continual loop.
Many thanks,
Tommie

I'm sure it was caused by the problem this morning. If its critical I can change it if I have enough information. I have to give priority to preventing the problem from happening again so I'll be doing that all evening. |

A few other members have managed to make more posts using my ID, this happened last night - possibly when you were restarting the server. I have since changed my username, i'm hoping this has resolved the problem. |

I think it has to be a hardware problem causing this. I have taken the server offline and am having the memory tested. I am going to have it replaced whether it comes back ok or not.
In the meantime the backup server is doing all the work. |

I'm going to keep posting most recent information in this thread.
Hardware problem has been ruled out. It appear it may be a server config issue which Microsoft only documented yesterday. I have applied the fix and will be watching the forums carefully over the next few days. |
