When there are aspects of a member's profile I wish to change, for example, their username, title, or an erroneous email address, I log in as I should to admin options, where I search through the members to the correct member. I then use the edit profile option, and I have to enter my admin username and password to access their profile. However once I have logged in, this is where there are problems. While the person's profile is produced, parts are seemingly automatically changed. It leaves all the details such as location, name and email the same, BUT, it alters the username to my username, and it alters the password to my password. This stops me from changing anything about their profile, unless I change their password, which is obviously not practical (and I can't set it back to their old password as I don't know it). Can you help please?

I think I just dealt with a helpdesk ticket for this....

What steps are you taking (exactly) to get this to happen. I have been unable to reproduce it.
If I login as admin on your forum and edit a member it only displays their details.

Hmm...well, I've just tried doing the edit member profile the usual way, but using Internet Explorer instead, and that has worked. It seems that my problem is only encountered when I use Mozilla Firefox. Could there be any reason for that?

Can you try it with Firefox again and let me know if it happens?

Yeah, it still seems to happen. It leaves all of the member details, except username and password, which are changed to mine. A friend of mine thinks it's to do with Firefox coding, so it may well work in later versions.

Do you know which version of firefox you are using? It may have happened yesterday because of the problem with the server, have you tested it since I switched to the backup server earlier this morning?

Just tried it now, and it's still doing the same thing. I'm using the newest Firefox version (1.0.4). Has this problem ever been seen elsewhere with Firefox, or is it just me?
