Is there a way you can keep members from posting HUGE images? Besides telling them.

Nope, sorry. Assign a moderator or two to help you prevent users from abusing it.

If I were you I would lock the account of a member who does this repeatedly (for a day or two).

My mods and I have been members of boards for several years now so we understand how to do all this, but the new members are used to Yahoo Groups and just attaching photos. They aren't used to uploading it to photo storage sites and sizing them. It's no big deal, just wanted to check though.

Greetings I just post an Image requirement in my Rules Area. I set a size and tell them to keep it as close as possible within reason. If I find a hude image it will be deleted. And they keep it in mind when posting.
