Hi, Padriac!

We've had this discussion before;). I fixed the forums (by topic) so that my subscribers could subscribe to each topic (like you have this set up).

But, now a few of us don't get the option (even though it's changed). For example, I'm not getting any notifications at all anymore. When I try to unsubscribe to the board and then re-subscribe nothing happens.

Thanks for your help on this!

Okay, it worked because I got some messages saying folks had posted, but I still can't go and subscribe to just a topic. At least on the two I checked. Before I go and change all that, I wanted to ask is that what you changed?

This statement doesn't show up: "Check here to unsubscribe from this topic." Instead I get the statement about profile, or sticky (or locking) a topic.

I'd rather people be able to subscribe just to their topics of interest and not the entire board. I think it's overwhelming and they'll eventually unsubscribe altogether.

Let me know what you suggest!

You don't get that because you are subscribed to the whole board.

They way its setup now lets your users subscribe to the whole board, a category, a forum or a topic. Let them choose which way they want to subscribe.

But this is the problem I had before. I unsubscribe to the board and it doesn't change anything. I just tried it. Then I exited the forums and returned and still when I post a reply I don't have the
"subscribe to topic" button.

This is what I see:
"Check here to include your profile signature.
Check here to lock the topic after this post."

Thanks!!

You were still subscribed to the board. I unsubscribed you just now.

It works for me. I registered and tried to post a topic. This is what I saw.

If you are subscribed to anything e.g. a board, category or forum you won't see the above.

Thanks for fixing it for me. But, I have hit that unsubscribe button a million times trying to be 'unsubscribed'. Wonder why I wasn't 'allowed' to unsubscribe or why it wasn't 'taking'?

Again, thanks for all your help!:).

Got a member having the same problem I did with the unsubscribe to board deal. She wants to get the threads. My board is set up that way now. But she's subscribed to the entire board and doesn't get notification anymore.

She's: PR Diva Queen (username).

If you need more information to help her, please let me know.

Thanks:)
