Help! Something has happened to our Osmond.com forum. Are you doing something to it on your end?

It's been a few hours and we are still not working. The forum home page is not formatted right and when you click on a link it is getting this error:

ADODB.Recordset error '800a0bb9'

Arguments are of the wrong type, are out of acceptable range, or are in conflict with one another.

/osmond/forum.asp, line 339

Don't mean to pressure here, but any idea when we may up and running again so I can let me staff and users know something?

Okay - I've discovered the forum was upgraded, but we're still having some problems. When we click on a forum topic folder it opens up okay and we can see all of the topics that are in that folder; however, when you click on those topics, it takes us back to the forum homepage. Has anyone else had this problem?

Sorry I haven't responded before now. Just after I restarted
the servers I had problems connecting to the internet due to my
ISP being useless.

Osmond, its important that you don't try to use the new version
of the forum yet e.g. You must be logged in to see this link. you should still
use the old version You must be logged in to see this link.

You will receive an email when its upgraded and the old one
will redirect automatically. I'll upgrade your forum later today
if I can.

When I restart the server I have to do it safely in order to prevent
data corruption. This means I have to shutdown the databases which
takes about 5-10 minutes and then restart both the web and database
server. During this time you may see a few different errors while
the databases, etc. are loaded again by the servers.

When all forums are upgraded I should be able to automatically redirect
to a webpage when these errors occur so users know that maintainence
is being carried out.

Padriac -

Do you think you'll finish the upgrade today? When I thought we were upgraded, I sent out a notice to all of our members telling them to use the new upgraded version and changed all of the links on the website - then I discovered the new version wasn't working and we had our old version back.

I've sent out another notice to the users to not use the newer version - go back to the old - but some of them didn't get the message and it's causing all kinds of headaches and issues. My forum moderators have their hands pretty full - can you give a time frame on all of this?
