They cannot see the hidden (registered only) forums because they are not logged in for some reason. Without any specific problems, its hard to help. It could be anything, firewall, cookies, etc.
That particular user "3400" has only made one post. If one of your moderators emails 3400 they may get more information on the problem. |

Thanks Padraic,
We have been dealing with a huge amount of problems since doing that to the forums. Now I know why so many people never showed that they have visited. They weren't logging on.
I have this member below that can't get PM's and I don't know why? The icon is missing on their posts and when I try to do the SMS messages to "Yes" it won't stick?
You must be logged in to see this link.
Thank you, Lady RV |

CountryGuy doesn't wish to receive private messages and has set this in his/her private messages settings.
This is the error you get when you try to send CountryGuy a pm.

CountryGuy does want to receive PM's and can't figure out how to turn them on or for that matter how they turned them off. When I go to edit their profile I don't see an option. I actually don't see it on my either. Can you enlighten me?

I never did get a message like this, I never even found a way to be able to try to send them a PM.
Also can you write me about my account? I have written you but I know you must get a massive amount of e-mail.
Thank you again!

I tried to send him a private message and that was the error message I received. He would need to go into his private messages via the main forum page and adjust his settings in order to be able to receive them. He must have already logged in and changed his settings to reject all private messages. |

Thank you Padraic for refreshing my memory on how the PM and Preferences work.
I was able to relay the information correctly to CountryGuy.
All my best, Lady RV |
