Our Poll is not going as smoothly as we'd hope. LOL

Can you check out this thread and provide me with an explanation that I can give my members?

You must be logged in to see this link.

Sorry about this, it seems when it rains it pours.

Thank you,

Its to prevent people from viewing the results before you vote (as in any election).

"When you press the "Vote Results" button, it logs it as an anonymous vote. It's like an empty vote. It is not counted. This prevents users from seeing the poll results before they vote. But still allows them to view the results, even if they don't want to participate in the poll."

The user has voided their chance to vote. It does say "Anonymous vote" beside the view results button but maybe I will change that text to make it a little clearer.

You can reset the poll if you want to start again.

Thank you for the explanation. I passed it on to our members. It makes perfect sense to me. Sometimes people get eager to do things and they don't think them through clearly.

I will change the text beside the view results button so that its clear.
It shouldn't take that long so I'll do it tonight.

How would "(Viewing results will void your vote)" be?
Any other suggestions?

That sounds good to me. What ever you think is best.

Thank you as always, you're tops.

Done.

I suggest you test it out by creating a test poll.
