Hi,

I've had 8 people try to sign up, and they are saying that they did not receive the e-mail with the password.

I tested it, and they are correct. When new people sign up, the e-mails are not being sent.

Thanks in advance,

Sean Madigan

Goto Email Server Config in the admin area.
Make sure the dropdown says CDOSYS and click Submit.

Hi Padraic,

It says CDOSYS (IIS 5/5.1/6)

I see you are testing it...does it pass?

Thanks,

Sean Madigan

I managed to login and do it. It worked.

How did you know I was there?

Hi Padraic?

You received both e-mails confirming your registration?

I knew you were there working on it because I checked the "Members Pending" section of the Admin and saw that you signed up as "Padraic" and "Padraic2". There were not there this morning.

Did you receive the e-mails? I tried to test it from work and I did not receive a confirmation e-mail.

Thanks,

BIG Sean

I got the email straight away. I know sometimes mail sent by using CDOSYS & CDONTS don't
get through to some mail servers (they reject it) or it gets caught by the firewall. I never found a fix.
Its a known problem. I think sending the mail using high priority may help.

If you can, see if the mail was rejected and if so, for what reason.

You can delete both accounts BTW.
