Do i have way of Backing up my forums posts and information or is this only controlable at Forumco . also what is the site crash rate like on these forums?

They are backed up daily automatically. That doesn't mean that I could restore a single forum back to a particular date though. A lot would depend on the particular problem.

We had one fairly serious crash last November / December that resulted in about 10-12 days downtime while the database server was replaced. Refunds were issued for the downtime and thankfully everything has normal since. Its the only major problem in almost three years. (8/8/2003 ForumCo is three).

I have a m8 whos wanting to host his own forum on his site which accepts .asp if he was to create a forum with your company and then download the files needed to make his own forum could it be possible for you to send him the database in order for him to put it on to his site?

a simpler explanation , Can you send a copy of the Site database to members?

Hi Padraic mate , is there any way of getting hold of a back up of my own database , i would feel more comforatable if i did.

Also on the subejct of my mate creating his own i replied to your email asking whether the snitz forum setup files you can get i know theres a link somewhere on here , if he could create his own on someone elses hosting or would he have to be hosted by forumco problem is with him he wants his own site to host it as its part of a business any help you can give on either me having a copy of my database to set my mind at ease or my m8s forum question i would be gratefull on , thankyou m8 look forward to your reply
