Howdy,
I just set up a forum yesterday and have run into a problem when attempting to post many inline photos in a post.
Forum is changjiangexperience.forumco.com
Adding a few photos in a post using [ img ]. . .[ /img ] works fine. If a poster tries to add 15 photos, this happens:
1. Poster creates new thread w/ 15 photos
2. Poster clicks preview and preview displays normally and shows all photos in it.
3. Poster closes preview window
4. Poster clicks "Post New Topic" and receives "500 Internal Server Error - There is a problem with the resource you are looking for, and it cannot be displayed."
5. Poster's account is now locked out. When Poster tries to log back in , receives "Your username and/or password were incorrect. Please either try again or register for an account" Poster's have tried resetting their password to no avail because they don't realize their account is locked out.
Your help is appreciated.
Cheers,
Dan K.

Dan, I'm not sure what you are trying to do. The image brackets are for inserting a single photo into your post (or a reply to a post). Each photo's URL must be placed within a set of image brackets by itself. However, you can place more than one photo into each post (without creating a "Reply to Topic" post) to add additional photos. However, you need to use the "Image" brackets on each photo separately.
Depending on the size of the photo posted, it's best to create a "Reply" sometimes for each photo posted.
You talk about a preview window; if you are trying to insert a slideshow of some photos, you should use the other brackets that are for that type of objects, for example: Windows Media brackets, or a "You Tube" bracket set, etc.
As I said, I'm not clear what format or type of set of images you are trying to insert in a single post?
Under "Admin Options" you can change the number of items (replies, etc.) per page from the default setting of 15, to another number.
