I'm not exactly sure what the problem is that you are experiencing. Is it still happening?

The link in your second screenshot works for me - You must be logged in to see this link.

Additional happenings....

We have the forums set so that you must be registered to make a post. (We currently have 2 types of registered users 1)General user - who only have access to the General categories, and 2) Club Members who have access to the General Categories, along with "Members Only" categories (that do not show up on the general/public areas.)

The club members are still see nothing, but what is on the 1st post screen shots when they try to log-in. We have since found out that if you log-out, and then go into a general category, you can create post (see screen shot below.) Even though you are logged out, it still automatically puts your user name in the User Name" box. IF you are logged out, you should NOT be able to make any posts...

Any ideas about what is happening with our forums???? The members are getting concerned about having to start over again... Thanks

I logged in as an admin of your forum and get 8 pages of users for the Email list.

It is your browser inserting the username and password in the above screenshot. You cannot post without also inserting the antispam code.

Thank you for your time. I have tried logging in on different systems, using different browsers, and still get the results above. I am the only Admin, and I am seeing basically nothing. My members can not see anything when they are logged-in either(including the Private Area, Members List, their own In-box, etc...)can you see anything wrong?

I want to talk to you just a bit, but I may be completely off about what is creating a problem for your forum.
I'll use your posted info in the post above to point out a few things I'm thinking, you said; "(We currently have 2 types of registered users 1)General user - who only have access to the General categories, and 2) Club Members who have access to the General Categories, along with "Members Only" categories (that do not show up on the general/public areas.)"

I suggest you look at each forum, in each category's settings. Using the "Pencil" icon to access each individual form's properties, make sure each forum is set correctly, set as you wish them to be set. Make sure any forums that are restricted to certain members show which members are allowed to see the forum, etc. Double check that you have set the option "Allowed Members List", which is located below the forum's properties line that reads "AUTH TYPE" ("All Visitors"; "Members Only"; "Members Only Hidden"; etc.); be sure you have listed (moved) all members allowed to view that forum into the "Right" side column. Don't forget to click the "Submit" tab after making any changes to the forum's properties. (No members need be on the right-side column if the forum is set to "All Visitors".)

One problem with being an Admin, when viewing the forum, is that the Admin does not see the forum as the "normal" member does. Nothing is hidden from the Admin's view, so they can easily assume that all is okay, and that the members are seeing everything as the Admin wants them to see it.

On that same thought, make sure you are not using the option that reads "Allow Topic Moderation". It's found under Admin Options-Feature Configuration-Moderation Features, not under each Forum's properties. Don't use that unless you want to have to approve every post made by a (all) member; not approving each post under that setting will cause the post(s) to be hidden from the average member's view. Yet, it will be visible to Admin of the forum, as well as any Moderators of that forum, and ForumCo's Admins. Meaning you, as Admin, may not catch the fact that regular members can't see the post or any new replies to it.
I suggest you create a "Fake" regular membership for yourself; one that you can sign-in as a member, other than as Admin. Signing in that way can help an Admin see, and maybe understand, what problems a regular membership can, or could, be having when they are viewing and working with the forum. Knowing what a regular member can, and can not see, will help in understanding if there's any needed changes to be made.

Really sorry if I'm way off base on this problem you are having. However, to me it sounds as if some of your forum properties might be set incorrectly to some degree; but, maybe not?

RUlmer,

Thank you for the reply.

We have had this forum going for over 5 years now. I am/have been the only admin, so I am the only one that can change any of the settings. We have a few Moderators for the different areas, but they do not have admin privileges. Everything has been running smoothly until about a month ago, where you can see from the 1st post, what I (as the admin) am seeing on my screens. I have had members call me to tell me that they see the same thing that I am when signed in. The screen print from 12/14 is mine from the Admin area (I see no e-mail list).

I tried to set up a "dummy account". It said that the registration went through, but it never showed up in my Members Pending screen. I have to approve any new member, so that we keep out the spammers, so I can not even see that new account.

I have made no changes to any of the settings, and even went back through repeatedly to see if one of the settings was not correct.

You suggested checking each forums properties, but when I sign into the forum, all I can see is the 1st screen print at the top. I can not (and neither can the members)get into the forums while signed in.

I noticed that the reason the link posted on your first post (on 12-14) is incorrect. The reason is because the "h" is missing in the word "north", within that url address typed. However, I realize that has nothing to do with your reason for posting a request for assistance.

Today, I'm going to continue to look into this problem you are having with that forum. I'll need to join your forum; so please approve my membership. Doing so will allow me to see some things as a member; things that the "General" public view does not show.

I'm limited to some degree as to what I can see (I'm not an Admin of ForumCo, just a ForumCo support moderator.)

I'll register for your forum membership shorty, and wait for you to approve the membership. Use the powers you have as the Admin to approve the membership. Don't wait on me to reply to a confirmation letter from the forum to approve the membership ("activate" the/my account).

If your problem has already been fixed, ignore my membership request.

RIlmer,

Please check your PM box for a message from me. As I mentioned prior, I tried to set up a "Dummy Account" and was not able to see it in my pending members screen. Please send an e-mail to the address in the PM to let me know when you submitted the registration.
