Hello,

Our forum has been down some time Sunday or so... did the hurricane impact the server our forum is on?

You must be logged in to see this link.

Server Error

There is a problem with the resource you are looking for, and it cannot be displayed.

Please let me know if there is any further information I may provide to help fix the problem, thanks!

I know that last Tuesday morning, after the power outages and other problems the storm had caused during the night before, that this support forum was not available to the Midwest part of the U.S.. Neither was my personal forum able to load. However, another forum, that is provided by ForumCo (that forum’s Admin and members are mostly located on the east coast) was slow, but did load. Some functions on the forum worked, others didn’t.

Hours later in the day ForumCo’s Support forum came back online, as well as my own forum. When that happened the east coast forum, I spoke of, was once again able to perform all functions, including those that were not available that morning.

I don’t recall the exact times involved, but the problems I know about started around 7:00 A.M. Central Time, and came back online around 4:00 P.M. last Tuesday

There was an issue with a Chinese ip address attacking the server for the last week or so.

The web server and database server was restarted in order to complete a security change a few days ago. That is what caused the 500 error you saw on Tuesday and caused the forums to be slow for a short period.

There have been no issues with connectivity due to the hurricane as far as I am aware. The servers are based in Tampa, Florida.
