I have noticed that since the last big upgrade and mods, my AOL software (through the embedded IE Explorer) does not load the Forumco sites. If I use just IE Exlorer or Firefox, the sites load fast and all pages are accessible.

I have rechecked all the settings within AOL's software but see nothing unusual, and I have not made an changes knowingly!

Like I said, I can access though "Broswer only" connections, its just when using the actual AOL software.

Any help or insight is appreciated.

This has now been verified by several others using AOL software on different computers, so it is not my computer causing this issue.

I find AOL totally unsatisfactory for surfing the web. Even when it was my provider I used IE or better yet Firefox. I thought they had given up on being Internet providers?

I do agree with "Montana" and I also use IE or Firefox normally. But I like having the traditional AOL software so I can achieve emails. For convenience, if I am already in AOL I will surf to other pages without loading another browser.

Here is what I found. I was using AOL 9.1 on the system I originally wrote about. I have since upgraded to AO: 9.5 and not the problem is gone! Works fine!

Funny thing is, I am using AOL 9.1 on my laptop (Writing this right now and actually on the AOL software) and it's working fine.

So there must be some incompatibility in the AOL software that is not better in the newer version.

Thanks for getting back to me!

I need to upgrade my AOL software too and hope it works. I also use AOL for my e-mail program. Has been a pain not being able to click on a link in my e-mail and actually getting to where it should. Thank you for the tip on the upgraded software.
