My forum members (250+) have asked to have a poll on a particular issue that is important to our members. I have read through everything I can find, but can't figure out how to set up a poll. Can you please point me in the right direction?

In the "Admin Options" section, turn on, or off, any features pertaining to the type of options you'll want within your polls. It is under the Poll Configuration (on the left side of the list).

Second:
In the forums you want to "Allow Polls" in, edit the forum’s properties and allow the forum to have Polls. That option is toward the top of the list; maybe second from the top.

Third:
Be sure you "Submit" the changes you make when setting it up.

Then you can create a Poll in the forum(s). The option to do so will show up on the forum, near where the "Post New Topic, and "Reply to Topic" options show up now.

Thanks for the information. One additional question, if I may. We have 262 members and the poll in question is one that is of interest to everyone. Why are we limited to 15 responses? Is there a way of increasing that number?

I'm not able to answer this question (I'm only a volunteer moderator and have no control over the number of answer options available).

However, I take it, that that is the number of options members can choose, or choices the poll offers in the choices, not the number of replies to the poll. In other words, you could set up a poll with 15 different choices for the member to choose from. And any number, or all your members can reply to the poll (as many times as they want to).

Let me know if this helps you understand your poll setups?
