The default settings of the avatars is 64 x 64 pixels. As an Admin, you can change the size to some degree.
There is three different sizes you can use in different combinations; 32; 64; and 96 pixels. (Setting of this is found under the Admin Options)
You can change the settings to a box image, or a rectangle shape when it is viewed on the forum. If you change the default settings of the avatars it affects all avatars viewed appearance on your forum. So, you may not want all avatars to appear in an rectangle shape
If you are creating or editing an image that is to used as an avatar, knowing this will help you; an avatar that is about 1.27 inches (square) in size is about 64 x 64 pixels in actual size. |
