Hi. I have a paid forum and I was wondering if there is any way to modify the white ForumCo logo in the top left of my forum. I am using a black background and the white logo just doesn't look good that way. So if I could either get a black logo to make it look better or use my own logo, that would be great. Let me know. Thanks.

Create your own logo image, or find an image you wish to use. The image needs to be hosted on the web, not just in your computer. For example, If you have something like a Yahoo Geocities’ account, upload it to that host. Rather than writing down the image’s URL, I prefer to view the image online at the host, and while doing so, I highlight the URL, “Right Click” it, and copy it to my clipboard.
NEXT:
Log in to your Forum. Log in to the “Admin” section. Under the “Main Forum Configuration”, the 3rd item listed is the “Title Image Location”. Place the URL of your image (photo) in that box. (If you copied its URL to the clipboard, (as I mentioned above), you can simply “Right Click” the space and “Paste” it there. Click the “Submit “ Your image will replace the image that is there now. That image must stay at the URL you directed your forum to access it at, or it will not appear on your forum. You can change the image anytime, by creating a new one, and placing its URL in the “Title Image Location” box.

Odiedude, I don’t known what kind of forum you have, so I’ll just say this: You might want to use one of your photo programs to create a “Custom” image to match your forum’s scheme or intentions. If you want text on the Logo image, the text will need to be part of the image. The size of the image can be changed, but that is done by changing the size of it at its host, not within the Forum’s tools. In other words, resize your image, and re-upload it, replacing the image at the host. This will change what shows up on your forum. You may have to play around with the size to get the results you prefer. |
