Is it possible to include an RSS feed link to a post?
Eg the one you can click on at the bottom of the forum frontpage

I'm afraid not but you can get rss feeds by category and forum

You must be logged in to see this link.

If you had an rss feed that showed the latest posts they would be all out of context. You can use the Syndication feature to put the forums active topics on any html page.

I'm not sure what an RSS feed is, but my members have discovered that if they click on the XML buttons prior to logging in, they can see old posts. This does not make us happy as ours is a private board. Is there any way to resolve this problem?

Mable:
Set (edit) the properties to each and every forum individually (all sub-forums as well) to “Members only” or “Allowed Members Only”. (You do this, not from the Admin Options section; but from the main page, using the “Pencil Icon” of each forum.)
Be sure to move any (or all) your members’ usernames to the right side of the window below the option you choose.
Don’t forget to submit the changes.

Then try clicking the “xml” button and see if you can still read your forum topics without logging in. I think this will fix your problem. Let me know if this helps?

Mabel,
I should have pointed this out to you before:
If you set the viewers of the forum to the "Allowed Members", you'll have to add new members to the list. By default they will be placed in the available member's box (left one). You'll want to move them to the box on the right after they become members; and submit the change.
If you chose the "Members Only" option, you may not have to move new members to the right side option, and they should still be able to see the forum anyway when they are logged in.

Thanks for reporting back.
