I have subscriptons enable on my boards(teamasc.forumco.com), but it seems the poster needs to actually click to subscribe. Is there any way to have the subscription chosen by default? Many of our users are new to these type of boards, and forget to click to subscribe. It appears that once the original poster subscribes, subsequent posts are subscribed by default. Thanks.

It is our policy that the user has to opt in to receive email. This will never change. You could make a sticky topic explaining the option to new users.

Thanks. I figured that is what the situation was, but never hurts to ask. I'm sure as our membership gets more familiar with it things will smooth out. ForumCo has done a really great job with these boards from what I've seen so far.

You could also have them subscribe to the rss feed (might be easier).
