Hi Padraic,

I have my forum setup whereby I have to approve any new members, however when approving new members all I see is their user name and email address. I'd like to be able to see their real name as well and use this as a requirement for anyone wishing to join the forum. Is this possible ?

Plus, is it possible whereby I can set my own member detail requirements rather than the default ones that are currently listed in the member panel when someone wishes to join the forum ?

Cheers,

Brian

Not at the moment but I will look into it. There is no guarantee however that people will use their real names.

Not at the moment either, sorry. Its not likely to be added sometime soon either. You can choose other details (from the ones available) but you cannot add new ones or make them required.

smokey651,

Yes. Turn restrict registration to "off" and email validation to "on" in the admin area. Email Server Config if memory serves me correctly.

How do I access this feature? I may have set it by mistake, that may be why my new members cannot log in.

Thanks!

Its not set on your forum. Direct any users that cannot login to the helpdesk - You must be logged in to see this link.

Ask them to provide their browser, operating system and if the time / date / year is set correctly on their computer.
