I have recently come back to this place because I found out that my old forum is still active. Last time I used it, the word filter was part of the Premium package (Without banners, extra features. All that good stuff.).
Is this still the case? Or is the language filter once again available to those with the free forum setup.
I wanted to know because there are only certain words I want filtered out, and some I dont want to be filtered out.
Thanks for your time, help, and patience.

Yes, changing the words in the badwords list is not available on free accounts. |

How do I add words then?
Is there a way that i can prevent an entire post appearing if it contains the word rather than the word being substituted for *****. I mean like if someone wrote on say a Macdonalds forum for e.g that Burger Kings burgers taste better, if Burger King is replaced merely with stars it is still obvious what the message is about. |

In that specific example, that's just trolling, and something that moderators will have to look out for. I don't think you can sensor an entire message based on one word, that might cause problems where there shouldn't be. It's not a perfect science, yet. |
