How do I let user's show their pictures? I have enabled picture from the member details configuration, but the only way I see to specify a picture is by giving a web address? What on earth kind of address do I use? It is very frustrating that your FAQ and your help icons do not cover this.

We do not allow users to upload pictures to the webserver so they must upload a picture to their own space and link to it from there.

e.g. You must be logged in to see this link.

What I do for my members is that since we have a charity website with server space - I just ask them to email me their pics - resize them appropriately in PSP or similar and then upload them to our server with my weekly updates - from there I can just put in the website address and the name of their pic and bingo - quite simple so long as they're willing to send the pics which some can't be bothered with. Yeah it would be nice to have somewhere handier perhaps, but most sites seem to work along a similar basis. I use another large similar forum which did offer 'uploads' but no matter how often I tried it, I got constant error messages, so decided instead to just go stick in my URL instead.

You just need to tell your members that you'll sort out that aspect and leave it to them to decide whether they want to send you a pic or not.
