Its not related to the recent problems. Its because of the amount of members you have on your board.
I'll find a way to fix it soon, I just want to be sure that there are no problems with the server first.

Thank you again! We are getting a lot of double posts at our site. Currently there seems to be a problem. When I tried to reply and hit submit I got the following...
quote:
There has been a problem!

There was an error = 501 unacceptable mail address

Hit the browser back button and it gave me the same message again when I tried to submit. Went to the thread and there it was a double posting from me.

What does the number of members have to do with the errors? Just curious and yes, I know curiosity killed the cat.

One more question while I'm here. (sorry!) How do I post a hyperlink without having the entire address show instead of only a description of the page?

What I am referring to would look like this...

Montana Owner's Club instead of You must be logged in to see this link.

Is it even possible?

Thank you, thank you, thank you! I tried it every which way but with the " " 's. The other forums I belong to don't use the quotation marks.

Again my sincere appreciation. :)

There is also an easy way. This will not work with Quick Reply.

Change format mode from Basic to Prompt when posting a topic or reply.

Then click and follow the instructions.

Wow great Padraic, thank you! I had wondered what the prompt thing meant? Sorry, I don't mean to sound stupid here, but I honestly didn't have a clue. Only this message board has quick reply, correct?

Is there a way to keep the prompt feature working or does one need to use the drop down menu every time?

Quick reply is only available on this board. It will be on the next version.

You have to select prompt every time.

I've issued refunds to everyone for 60% (about 18 days) of the cost of your forums in November.

For those interested, there were approx 15,600 minutes of downtime in November which is about 10 or 11 days.

The server has been up constantly for 3 days and 4 hours with zero errors. At last I can say with confidence that I'm sure the problem has been fixed.
