Monday isn't almost over. Still got 8 hours where I live.
Seriously though. There is alot involved with moving from one host to another one. DNS changes have to be submitted and then they have to take affect. Padraic is moving both the database server and the forum server to a different host. These are dedicated servers that have to be setup and configured properly. Also, all of the data from the database server has to be transmitted over to the new server. That is a lot of data, and the Internet Connection is only so fast. Please have a little patience. When there is something new, Padraic will let you know. Constantly posting "It's Monday, what's the status?" isn't going to help anything. |

Richard, I wanted a progress update, for which I thank you. The last word we had was a couple of days ago when Padraic said that we should be back online today. I realise that there is a lot of work involved, but I feel that as a paying customer, I am entitled to ask when I am likely to see my service restored. |

Ditto for me!!! This is really killing any hits I, previously, had on my site. Patience has been the willingness to wait until Monday.... |

Hello Padraic
I really do want to know when my Forum will be available again please. I feel as though I am being kept in the dark. Most of them seem to be up again now, but I haven't had any feedback from you for a while now and I really do feel as one of the last forums that is still down, you should be keeping me and the others informed.
Thanks

Sorry, I should have emailed you. There were problems with 10 databases, 6 I managed to fix. Yours was one of the ones I couldn't fix straight away, I needed to get advice from Microsoft on how to do it correctly. I'll let you know later this evening.
I realise yours has been down the longest so I'll try to make it up to you. |
