A new member reports that when she tries to register, she gets javascript errors and the screen where she should be typing in her information never appears. No one else has reported this problem, but I'd like to help this person login. What questions should I be asking her and do you have any insight on what might be going on?

Here's how she reported the problem:

"When I try to register I do not get the complete screen to enter my information. I kept getting java script errors. I called another member and she talked me through the process, but when we get to the page that I need to enter my information, nothing is there. Please let me know what I need to do."

Find out what browser she is using. Also ask her if Javascript is enabled.

Edrene, one of my users bought a new PC, and we found that there was a problem due to the fact that Microsoft are no longer supplying JVM as part of the XP build. My user had to download the JVM software, and then once she had, everything was OK.

Take a look at this site: You must be logged in to see this link.

Is this what happens? They suggest a couple of possible sites from which to download the JVM, plus you can get it from Download.com

Thanks for your help. I suspect it's one of the conditions you mentioned.
