The Montana Owners Club forum (You must be logged in to see this link.) is experiencing duplicate registrations. A member joins using the same Userid and email address but with different member numbers. (Note: I am only a Mod so I can't actually see the email addresses but I am told by an Admin they are duplicates).
There are two duplicates that I am aware of.
NonieLeah05 - Number 14056 & 14057 - Joined 2/18
MP2 - Member 13963 and 13964 - 12/28
As I recall, the ForumCo software used to reject the use of duplicate Userids and/or duplicate email addresses. We sure don't want two different people using the same Userid as it would be very confusing. Making each email address unique is also of value in preventing SPAM generating members.
Has something changed in the last few months which now allows a registration to duplicate an exisiting Userid and/or email address??
