It won't change. If I restrict its use in any way Excel won't be able to access it.

Padraic,
Now that I took a closer look at the data I notice there is a comma in ever field even if there is no data. This leads me to believe you have city and state information separated. If my assumption is correct please put a delimiter between city and state. That will make my data translation a lot easer.

There are two columns in the database one for city and one for state. Sometimes the city one is blank or just a space but I will include it anyway as a separate column.

It should now have a delimiter between city and state. If either of these columns are blank the delimiter should still be there so it should keep the correct data in the correct column in Excel.

Padraic,
Thanks, it now seems to be in a good format for me to work our "displays". Really appreciate your help. Sorry I was not on the ball to start with.

Padraic,
You did a great job helping me get the information. Now I find I could use the Country field as well.
The current break out is userID\number\city\state\date joined\posts found on this url
You must be logged in to see this link.
Would you please add country as follows:
userID\number\city\state\country\date joined\posts and use this url
You must be logged in to see this link.
Note: I use the "back slash" as the delimiter.
I ask for a new URL because I have users using my current software and the change would mess it up. Once I get the new software written, tested and in use I will advise you to drop one of the address.

Appreciate all your help.

Shouldn't be a problem. I'll look at it this evening and get back to you.
