I'm writing to you in regards to a forum hosted on your server;
You must be logged in to see this link.
I was wondering whether it would be possible for said site to be shut down. It clearly plagerises avatars from a larger IWC Forum, You must be logged in to see this link.
I find it's use of gratuitous language and pornographic images offensive to be honest. Is there anyway to remove this site from your server, alot of browsers cannot censor this type of thing.
Please get back to about this.

First of all, you mean copyright - not plagerize. Plagerize is when you take someone else's writing and use it as your own. This isn'tt he case here. It's clearly a copyright issue.
Secondly, just because they're using avatars from the other site doesn't mean that they corpyright infringed on the other site. Many avatras and signature graphics (banners, blinkies, and such) are so widespread that many are made to be used just about everywhere due to the author's permission for everyone to use them for personal and not commercial use. Someone from You must be logged in to see this link. would have to come forward stating that it's an actual copyright infringement and that the avatars were indeed used at the ForumCo form without their knowledge or permission.
Thirdly, I don't see any gratuitous language and pornographic images thus far. A few areas seem to be member's only so it's hard for me to tell if that's on the forum and just in those locked places or not.
Padraic, what do you think of this? (I'm pretty sure Padraic will be posting here about this issue.) |

90% of your avatars were directly linked to images hosted by another forum. That is in breach of our terms of service. If you state that you won't do it again I will turn the board back on. |

| When you state that you won't steal bandwidth again. You should upload your own avatars to your own webspace and link to those. There are plenty of free ones available on the net and plenty of free image hosting services. |
