My privacy statement has the following in it:
"This site may contain links to other web sites and files. We have no control over the content and can not ensure it will not be offensive or objectionable. We will, however, remove links to material that we feel is inappropriate as we become aware of them.

These forums give users two options for changing and modifying information that they provide in their profile:

1.Users can login with their username and password to change any information in their profile.
2.In case of lost password, users can send an email to *********(my admin email addy).

Cookies must be turned on in your browser to participate as a user in these forums. Cookies are used here to hold your username and password and viewing options, allowing you to login."

I have been to my admin area but I see nothing of use to respond to a user if they complain they lost their password or forgot what user name they registered with.

I don't know or see user's password and not sure that I want to...but if it helps I will email it back to them. I just need to know where that info is. Thanks.

You can never see a user's password.

Go to the members page of your forum. Choose a user and click the pencil icon to the right of them. Once you get to their profile you can enter a new password (twice) and let them know what it is by email.
