I would like to know if it is possible for me to put some code into the html of my homepage so that I can have a 'forum latest' section on the homepage where the latest active topics and members are shown without having to log on to the forum proper....

.....if not would it be possible to have my forum updated so that I could do this as I would REALLY REALLY like to!!

You must be logged in to see this link.

thanks in advance

Its only available on the new version. I planned to upgrade 5 or 6 over last weekend however I didn't have the time. I'll be pretty busy this weekend also but hopefully if I have a few hours Saturday or Sunday it will get done.

Just so you know it isn't vapourware, put this in a html page.

Yes, but more than likely it will tomorrow now before I can do it.

Did the Javascript (two posts up) work for you?

the javascript works a treat mate, there are a couple of little things however......

The text seems to be larger and the link 'hoverover' is now red - I dont know if thats something for me to change under the admin panel or whether thats something you would change (I havent had a chance to have a proper play yet - Im going to be changing the entire colour scheme shortly anyway in keeping with my new site)

Is there any chance of being able to remove the 'forumco.com' link that comes up on my new homepage when I use the javascript? - I dont mind manually putting a link up at all in the correct section, but it just looks a little out of place there....

also I dont understand what these are that you posted earlier:

Does that just do the same as the javascript?

cheers for any help
