some people have commented to me that they are unable to log in to my msg board after they have registered. I tried this out once in a internet cafe, and it happened to me, when you type your username then password then press login, it just flicks back to the previous screen, and is blank in the username and password boxes
please help !!

There could be many causes but the most common are;
1. Wrong date / time / year set on their computer. 2. Cookies are not enabled or are blocked.
If they are using Internet Explorer 6, they may need to make a few changes to which cookies are blocked. Search this forum for more information.
on your forum you could post the above information. |

I doubt it. Try this.

I understand how these settings could prevent someone from logging in at all, but why would this happen suddenly to long-time forum users who have not changed their settings? I have a few users who have inexplicably found themselves locked out.
Just curious. |
