For several days now, our board (schhresidents.forumco.com) has been very, very slow, and I see that the support forums are having the same issue. Can you kick it into high gear, please...

Thank you as always,

Wes

It appears to be through out the entire ForumCo web service. I'm not aware of Admin running any maintenance. Maybe Admin will (or is) working on this problem.
It takes a long time to connect to ForumCo; something must be going on with the server they use.
Sorry Wes, it's all above my powers to fix this. But I post this so Admin will know the problem is not just with your forum.

Ron

I restarted the server. Seems like it's back to normal.

When I get a chance I will delete some unused forums. That should help.

Still slow at times. I think it may be Google indexing the forums. I have reduced their crawl rate in their Search Console so hopefully that will help.

I think there might be something else up so I'm monitoring traffic.

Yes, the page loading is back to taking way to long to connect (sometimes over a half of a minute or more).

For the time being I have set the webserver to recycle every hour. That could also help.

Padraic,
I just checked into the forum a few minutes ago; the pages are now loading almost instantly. Yesterday, when I checked it they were still a little slow, but better than when the problem first begin.
As of now, I don’t see how it can get any faster or better than it is this morning.
Thanks for your work on this.
P.S.
I’ll PM you my forum info.

One of the disks on the server has a problem. Moved all of the databases and it seems to be better.

I will monitor the server closely for the next few days.

I made some configuration changes a few days ago and they seem to have worked.
