I am locked out of my forum because I changed my email address - I asked Padraic to change my password, and he did, but had it sent to an email address that I don't use anymore and don't have access to. Since then, I haven't heard from him. Is he on vacation? I haven't had access to my forum since last Saturday, and I am going mental. I just need the password reset and sent to my current email address, can someone help me please?

I'm here.
I didn't know you couldn't access your old email address.
If you want me to change it to another email address, you have to email one of the WorldPay receipts or the welcome email to info@forumco.com AND include the new email address you want it changed to in the same email.
The reason for this is because I have no other way to verify that you are in fact the owner of the forum. I'm especially careful when it comes to admin accounts. |

OK, so I signed up for a new "Admin" account at my forum, and I never got the promised password sent via email. I really think that this feature isn't working on my forum.
I then went in with my original administrator level "sflayer" account and changed the password for the "Admin" account, so I could log in. Then I updated the email address on the "sflayer" account (which is all I wanted to do in the first place)
Since that prompted an auto-change password (that I was supposed to get mailed to my new email but never arrived) I logged in through my new "Admin" account and changed the "sflayer" password back to what it should be.
Through this whole process I have never received any email generated by my forum, even though I used two working email addresses that I am receiving plenty of other mail on.
I really think this auto-email feature is not operational, at least on my forum. |

I reviewed all my settings, and the only thing that I saw that might have been a problem was the "Administrator Email Address" was set to my old address, which is no longer good. But I don't know that this would cause a problem.
The settings are as follows: Email Mode: On Email Server Address: mail.forumco.com Administrator Email Address: (my new address) Require Unique Email: On Require Logon for sending Mail: On |
