Is it possible for users that have already signed up and have a username and password on one free of my free forums to just use that same username and password on the other without having to sign back up again?

And I noticed that there was an "email all" button under admin options, and now it is not there, how can I get that back so I can email all my users at once?

Each “Main” forum is separate form. However, within each category of a “Main” forum you can have an unlimited number of “Sub-forums”. (You can also create as many categories as needed within the main forum.)

Does a member have to sign up in each “Main” forum? – Yes
Their username and password will allow them access to the “Main” forum, and all categories and sub-forms within the “Main” forum. - - - (Unless the Admin restricts membership to the sub-forum, by setting the properties of the sub-forum different; for example, requiring a special password for viewing and posting on/in that particular sub-forum.

Does a member have to sign up for each sub-forum, that is within a “Main” forum that they are already a member of? - No

When you are signed in as Admin, you should still see the option to “Email all members”. It is the on the 5th line (right side) of the list of options in the Admin Options.
You must be signed in as an “Admin”. Normal member’s don’t have the option to email all members all at once.

PM not Email?
Any member will also see an option when “Private Messaging” a member; in the window used (tool) to write the PM, the member will see the option to change who the PM goes to; just the member, multiple members, Alert Moderators, etc.
The option for a “Normal” member to email all members is not available.

I don't remember an option, that allows a "Normal" member to email all members all-at-once, as ever being an option on the forums; and I've been using ForumCo's forums for many years.
That type of option might open the door for a SPAMing type problem.

hum. its in my PM section. Way at top, two check boxes. Whenever I write a message, I can send en-mass to all members or just to Admin/Mods, or fill in name(s) up top with a comma inbetween each name. (Those two Check boxes are right below the fill in name line.)

I should know, I send um aout all the time. Keep in mind, your outbox will fill up with every members name. But thats a geat way to see if they are reading the material. You can tell when they have read it, the little fire light goes away behind envelope.
