This time, I need help.
Please check out this post at You must be logged in to see this link.
This member has numbers and pound signs like the below showing up on all his post. He doesn't know why, and neither do I.
For example: “#13;#10;#13;#10”
Could it be because of the browser he is using, or is something else going on?
He doesn't seem to have the problem in other areas like text programs, as it being a “Keyboard” problem.
Any help would be appreciated!

Is he typing his post in another application (Like Microsoft Word) and then copying it to the forum ?

Is he using any plugins for Firefox which could affect it ?

Thank you for the quick reply.
I’ll get back with the member and see if this is the case.
It maybe a Firefox type of thing.

I would say that #13 and #10 represent some form of carriage return or line feed.

ASCII 10 is a linefeed and ASCII 13 is a carriage return - You must be logged in to see this link.

I’m sure you are onto the answer to the text problem. He did mention using Firefox.
I have never used it much myself, and have no experiences before to relate to about this problem.
I have used Firefox’s browser, but not very much, and not when I was in any forums.
I've ask the member to read this topic, so maybe he’ll be able to understand and find a solution to the “text problem”.

By the way, I often use Microsoft Word to copy to, and from, the forum’s text post tool. Other than a few problems with one or two punctuation marks causing the post-text-program of the forum not to recognize the spelling of a word as correct, I have not had any problem using Microsoft Word. So, I believe you are correct and that it is a Firefox, and maybe a combination of the two together causing the problem.
Most times, I use Internet Explorer.

Thank you again!

I'm actually having this very problem over at You must be logged in to see this link. whenever i type in a post reply, and hit the return key. After posting what i'm told is that the 10 and 13 are the ASCII character codes for a carriage return and linefeed, show up. So i can either never hit return and type in one long paragraph or hit return and after posting it looks like this, Originally posted by Ebonhorn#13;#10;#13;#10; Nice pics Raist, but they just serve to remind me I need that marvel girl with the black skin#13;#10;#13;#10;#13;#10;#13;#10;#13;#10;What like the extra one still in packaging i have in my basement?. #13;#10;It happens when i use firefox and does not happen when i use safari. Are there any solutions to this because i really do not want to have to switch continually to safari just for one message board. They use the exact same forum as this one, which i'm hopefully will help towards a solution. Every other forum i use this type of thing does not happen.

I think you may have better luck reporting it as a bug to Firefox/Mozilla - You must be logged in to see this link.
