Greetings Padriac,
I have a lot of complains from my members regarding two things:
1. The forum is often slow and sometime unaccessible. Right now, for example... 
2. The search is not working. Although I haven't had any problems with it myself recently.
Please check it out. I hope my forum working 100% is just a tweak away!

| may I suggest archiving old, un-active topics. but be sure, that, for the topics you do not want archived, you make them a sticky before archiving |

Well... I just heard that one of the ISPs in Sweden, TeliaSonera, has been throwing lawyers on a ISP in US or UK and that has resulted in that some internet traffic has been temporarily cut off. And yes, I have TeliaSonera as ISP. Perhaps thats it?
Everything works great atm.  |

Thanks, but now I remember how to make a traceroute on my Mac!
Just write "traceroute wognum.forumco.com" in the terminal. Here is the result:

There does look to be a bit of congestion in two places above. Hop 4 & 7. The traceroute didn't make it all the way to your forum (67.15.143.35) but the last i.p. (66.98.240.95) is close enough. I think our firewall will block the last few i.p.'s from returning anything anyway.
The next time you experience the problem post a traceroute if you can. |
