We have been inactive for awhile, but are trying to get our act together. We would like to send one email to all members announcing that we are re-opened. I cannot figure out how to do this. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Login as girltalkcafe on your forum and you should see the link on the right of the main admin area.

If I may add to Padraic’s explanation, you will see the option to email all members when you login to the Admin section of your forum. (It is on the right, a few items down the list.)

I see the email list for each member, but I don't see a way to email them all in one shot. It appears that I have to email them seperately.

There should be, right next to the E-mail List an option in brackets that states E-mail All Users. If you click that link it should open the email dialogue box. Just write your email and click send and it should go to all the users on the list. It may take some time though, depending on how long your user list is.

(Email All Users) is what you want. like Padraic and RUlmer said, you must log in as the superadmin to do this (your forum name and password, ie. in your case user name: girltalkcafe, and your password). Also, when the window to email your users comes up, you see the subject message, the radio buttons that said who you want to email it to (all members admins, moderators, members from A-f, G-M etc) you will see something at the bottom that says this:

"Check here for opt-in users ONLY.
Check here to include email footer."

with check boxes beside them... unselect "the opt-in users Only" unless you only want your active members to receive the message, if you want all members to receive it un select the check box
