Hi there,

our forum was spammed by this member (Loans), not sure how to ban him... Should I just delete his/her profile? Have already deleted their posts; posts contained ads for pills etc....

Member: Loans

Cheers in advance,

Chris

This has happened to me. I just Reported his Spamming to his isp, banned his ISP, then deleted his account.

Apologies for the delay in responding.

You should lock troublesome accounts rather than delete them.

Oh... Have deleted the account. What's the advantage of locking an account?

I always lock instead of delete so the person doesn't just sign back up with the same username. It also prevents them from using the same email address because it's already being used by the locked account.
